Abstract — The hydrodynamic system that admits the development of internal wave attractors under biharmonic forcing is investigated. It shown in case low amplitude external pattern consists two interact between themselves only slightly: total energy equal to sum energies components with high accuracy. In nonlinear more complex way which leads a cascade triad interactions generating rich set time scales. closely adjacent frequencies perturbation, “beating” regime develops, namely, mean coupled performs oscillations at large scale corresponds beating period. found high-frequency fluctuations corresponding same can differ by an order magnitude depending on whether envelope value increases or decreases.
